Who it’s for

Quilted Pay is built for private-pay providers — midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and similar practitioners who bill their clients directly rather than through insurance. If your clients pay you (not an insurer) for your services, Quilted Pay is for you.

Quilted Pay is the primary billing tool in Quilted EHR. Insurance claims and remittance aren’t part of the current product.

What you can do

• Send professional invoices to clients by email, with a secure payment link
• Accept credit cards and ACH bank transfers with no extra hardware
• Get paid directly to your bank account on a standard 2-business-day payout schedule
• Track outstanding and collected balances from a single dashboard
• Split a large invoice into a payment plan (coming soon)

How fees work

Quilted Pay charges a small fee per successful payment. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no minimums — you only pay when you get paid.

Quilted Pay uses Stripe as its payment processor. The rates above are all-in — there are no additional charges billed separately.
